Matthew Leitch Description:

I’m an enthusiastic and organised double first-class law graduate from Clare College, University of Cambridge (ranked 2nd in year) with extensive experience in tutoring English, Law, Admissions and LNAT preparation. Throughout my time at university, I’ve developed my communication, organisational and time management skills.

During school, I worked part-time tutoring piano. This included helping students to pass music exams. I have also worked on the MyTutor schools programme, helping students to acheive their target grades in exams. I’ve also volunteered in a social subjects class. Finally, I have experience in mentoring students through the university applications process. In particular, I have knowledge in how to be successful in the Oxbridge admissions process and how to approach the LNAT test.

I’m passionate about helping students achieve their potential and can tailor my lessons to suit various styles of learning. I enjoy supporting students in reaching their goals, whether that is improving their grades or growing in confidence.

For students aiming to achieve top marks in exams and admissions tests, I have a track record of delivering outstanding results. In the most recent cycle, I have guided LNAT students to achieve top scores, including marks of 34 and 33. My students have also attained top grades in their school exams. I ensure that students can break down exam questions, understanding where they can gain marks, as well as providing advice as to the structure of their answers. Similarly, I ensure that students are familiar with the content, offering sessions on content included on the exam syllabus.
