I am an Imperial Chemistry graduate with a passion for outreach and science communication. I strive to bring out the best in my pupils through personalised learning.
I am particularly passionate about physical chemistry, an exciting interdisciplinary sub-topic that combines physics and maths to understand chemical systems. Despite being intimated by it initially, I have come to love it and will be pursuing research in the field. I understand the importance of a supportive environment and nurturing mentors to encourage young students. I have been fortunate to get that kind of support throughout my education and I hope to impart the same. I am a firm believer in strengthening foundations and understanding the fundamentals of a subject, and am opposed to rote learning, something that is reflected in my teaching style. I like using visual and interactive tools to teach science because it makes learning fun rather than a chore.
As a seasoned science communicator, I aim to make science accessible and enjoyable. I have written articles and made videos on a variety of topics aimed at GCSE and A-level students and am comfortable conveying complex topics in a simple and straightforward manner.
