Hello. I’m Jennie and I love maths. I am a teacher and examiner in maths at GCSE level.

I embarked on my teaching journey in 2013 and work to inspire my students to feel confident in tackling maths head on. Whether it’s helping students prepare for exams, clarifying challenging concepts, or providing additional support, I take a personalised approach to ensure each student achieves their academic goals. My tutoring sessions are interactive, engaging, and focused on building a solid foundation for mathematical success.

As an examiner for one of the major exam boards since 2018, my first hand experience in evaluating student performance provides me with unique insights into exam preparation strategies, enabling me to guide students effectively through the challenges of GCSE.

Prior to my teaching career, I served as an optometrist, bringing a diverse perspective to my educational approach. My further experience as a teaching assistant for three years was a great transition into the role of a math teacher, emphasising my commitment to fostering a positive and effective learning environment.

Many students can find maths a challenge. I am a firm believer that everyone can do maths, they just haven’t found the right teacher yet!
