Welcome to Trusted Tutors, a platform dedicated to facilitating educational connections between students and tutors/instructors (collectively referred to as “Users”). These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of our website, services, and applications (collectively, the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and all applicable laws and regulations.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By registering, accessing, or using the Services of Trusted Tutors, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use this Service.

2. Accounts

2.1 Student Accounts

Students are individuals seeking to receive tutoring services from Tutors/Instructors through our Service. By creating a Student account, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information about yourself.
  • Maintain the security of your password and identification.
  • Accept all risks of unauthorized access to your account and the information you provide to us.

2.2 Tutor/Instructor Accounts

Tutors/Instructors are individuals or entities offering tutoring services to Students through our Service. By creating a Tutor/Instructor account, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information about your qualifications, background, and tutoring services.
  • Not engage in any behavior that would result in a conflict of interest, including but not limited to taking Students acquired through Trusted Tutors to private tutoring arrangements not facilitated by our Service.
  • Acknowledge that soliciting Trusted Tutors’ Students for private tutoring arrangements not facilitated by our Service is a breach of these Terms and may result in suspension, IP ban, or legal action, depending on the severity and frequency of such actions.

3. Use of Service

All Users must use the Service in a manner that is ethical, legal, and not harmful to others. Prohibited actions include, but are not limited to:

  • Illegal activities of any kind.
  • Circumvention of Trusted Tutors’ payment system.
  • Harassment, abuse, or harm to another person.

4. Intellectual Property

All content provided on the Service, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Trusted Tutors or its content suppliers and protected by UK and international copyright laws.

5. Termination

Trusted Tutors reserves the right to terminate your account or your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.

6. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

7. Changes

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
